Two Hundred Tantrums and A Mommy Time Out

Dear Sanity,

I am begging you. Please come back. You've been gone about 3 weeks now. Ever since Noah decided to become "terrible" before he was even 2.

I need you to help me shower and clean the house. I need you to drag me to play groups and the grocery store with my swine flu mask on. If I have to bribe you with chocolate covered Joe Joe's I am totally into that.

I realize this may have you nervous about returning. Please try and forget about that and instead think of this image - Noah's cute face. Proof that there's an angel in there somewhere.

If you are still not convinced, picture this:

It's where HH and I are going SANS TODDLER in August. I sincerely hope you don't wait that long to show up.

Your Humble Servant,
Rachel

I heard that if the terrible two's start early, they end early as well. But don't count on it. Isabelle's started at 1 and a half, and are still there...she will be 3 this October. Perhaps they will end this week?

And is there room for a 3rd wheel when you leave in August? I will bribe you with chocolate covered Joe Joe's!!! After all, you offered them to Sanity, I figured you must like them.

Great post, adorable photo. I have lost count of our tantrums. I just leave my son alone to work himself out, but I have yet to find something that works for me. Take care.

Oh Rachel,

Sanity goes Bye, Bye and never comes back. But you will be okay. Who needs sanity ANYWAY.

He is TOOO cute. It's amazing how they can make you cry and smile at the same time!

Oh Rach, I could hear the craziness buzzing through the phone! I hope things settled down. I think if I were you my husband would come home to find me curled up in the closet rocking back and forth clutching an empty box of Joe Joe's and covered in Joe Joe crumbs. Hang in there! I know you've dealt with much worse and you will survive!

Yeah, I haven't seen my sanity in a LONG time. That vacation looks wonderful. At least it's something to look forward to. Hope this week is better for you.
