What's the Word?

The "Word on the Street" today is brought to you by my nine month old, Noah. It's his first word, so drumroll please!

(pause for effect)

And the word today is CAT. Not mama, not dada, nope, it's cat. The cat who bolts out of the room when Noah enters. The cat who glares menacingly at the baby who has taken rights to my lap. The cat who LOATHES the baby.

A little ironic, don'tcha think?

Is that really a picture of your cat? If so, that too funny :) My son adores our cats, too. He has two words...Dada & Cat...guess you can`t win them all.

So cute. Pity Hermionie and Rusty won't really, truly, be able to appreciate it!

Haha...cat is a pretty good first word! It's different! I'm sure the cat appreciates it!

Haha, congrats on his first word!!!! LOL, yeah mama wasn't mine's first either. Bummer. But now that he's said one word, mama should come pretty quickly!! Enjoy your season of baby-hood!! :)

Haha. Shiloh's first word was "ditty" which meant kitty. What is it about cats? She said that forever before she finally said mama.

Hey there! Just stopping by from SITS! I totally love the title of your blog... hmm... wondering if I can slip a little wine into my own personal sippy cup! :)

Enjoyed the blog too! Too bad about the cat hating the baby...

Hey SITS-er, that is a great pic. I know those "Cats" are really out there to get us. They are just trying to figure out how to use the can opener first. LOL
Glad you were picked for the SITS site. ENJOY!

Oh and P.S.
Another baby so soon, yes that is insane. Just hug on others til the feeling passes.

Hilarious! Sigh. I miss my cats (who passed away in the last two years). I think it's time to get two more sweeties. But do you think they could handle three kids under 7? (including two boisterous boys?!)

Well Miss Sippy Cup, if you stroll thru my site you may see it as a kind of underground tribute to cats; some of the postings, anyway....I love them, and I'm proud of that Noah person who has spoken a fine word as his first. Bless his little furry heart and gee I hope that comes out as a compliment :))
