I've Been Picked!

Noah's mommy over at Project Mommyhood has picked me to be a part of her game of TAG.

Here are 7 tidbits about me:

1. I am a sci-fi, fantasy novel junkie. If the book has vampires, witches or werewolves, I am all about it. I am currently reading "Sorcery and the Single Witch." It's super cute.

2. One of my favorite qualities in a person is enthusiasm!!! I love to meet passionate people (even if they are schooling me in which diaper brand to buy *wink*).

3. Whenever I hear someone with an accent, (especially a British accent)I inadvertently start talking like them. Words like "blimey" and "have a go at it" start creeping out of my mouth. This usually ends in at person thinking I am mocking them. I can't control this. There must be a syndrome with this name.

4. I love cleaning, but HATE to cook. Anyone want to trade a toilet scrub for some lasagna?

5. My junior year in college I lived in Madrid, Spain. There they have a scheduled siesta (nap) every day. Why doesn't the US jump on this?

6. A very long time ago I used to play Belle @ Disneyland (pre-wrinkles and baby).

7. If I could eat one thing all day, everyday it would be bean and cheese burritos. The man I share a bed with has something against this idea....

Thanks for reading my TMI. Now go visit these ladies, because they are IT next!

Hehe. Loved the comment about the bean burritos!

Ditto the cleaning and not wanting to cook (Good thing that Greg is the opposite) - we make a good match.

Oh and have you read the vamp book with Sookie Stackhouse as the main character. The HBO series True Blood is based on the book series - it's a good read!

Hahaha! Yes! My hubby and I do the same thing when we hang out w/ our "Britain" friend! For days after we're talking like him. I told hubby we should move to Britain for a few years just so that we could then move back and be those cool ppl that have the accent!

Thanks for the taggity-tag-tag!

What a fun list-glad to know someone else out there doesn't hate cleaning. This is my first time visiting and I love your blog-the design is adorable too!

*lol* Brilliant! And yes, I say that all the time because I am married to a Brit!

I lived over there long enough that people would probably think me strange if things like; Bloody hell, blimey, cheeky, prat, right, cock it up, bum (as in butt), git (as in "he's being a cheeky git!"), and a million other British colloquialisms.

Love your blog. Have linked over from SITS! Will definitely be back.

My daughter would have thought that being Belle was the coolest thing ever. Who wouldn't want a former princess as a mom?!

I love to cook and hate to clean but fear I'm too far away for the lasagna exhange (friendly Canada).

LOL! I know what you mean about starting to talk like people with an accent.

That picture of the Queen is too funny.

Good stuff! I too am a fan of the bean burrito. Cracked up about the British accent compulsion. I love hearing those Brits talk. I vote a definite affirmative on the matter of mandatory naps!

You are cute!!!

Great stuff! And I'll switch you cleaning for cooking. Although I hate both I'd rather cook than clean!

I have a similar affliction (mimicking accents when I hear them). I think they call this Silly Brain Disorder Syndrome Disease. They are currently working on a new drug for it...cross your fingers!!!

I just found you on SITS. I LOVE bean and cheese burritos. When I was five (and OK, now at 27) my favorite fast food is Taco Bell!

Hi there! I just stumbled upon your blog tonight from Yaya! I drooled for a good 2 minutes over your blog design. So beautiful!

Oh, and I absolutely LOVED #3... I have the same syndrome. I'm pretty sure I've said "Ellooooo Poppit!" ... I'm not proud.
